When our own troubles seem too much to bear, it is easy to start questioning God as to "why" this is happening! Why is He letting the pain go on and on? Why doesn't He heal me? Why doesn't He just get rid of our enemies? Why doesn't He just fix things right now? But when you look at the lives of many Bible characters, we can see that God is patient and His timing is perfect! For instance, think how Joseph must have felt, betrayed by his own brothers, sold into slavery, falsely accused and thrown into prison! No one would blame him if he got angry and felt like God had forsaken him. However, Joseph trusted God! He stayed faithful! And His reward was great! Instead of asking God "why?" . . . ask for strength! Instead of wallowing in despair . . . have faith! Instead of doubting . . . Trust! God loves you, gave His only Son to die on a cross to save you, and is looking forward to eternity with you in heaven! Be patient, it’s worth the wait! Text: Ps 27:14, 1 Corin 13:4-5, Ps 62:5

Amen. Very true, at times our hearts are heavily burdened and hard pressed with issues of life but our joy lies in our Lord Jesus who died on the cross to save us. He promised us great future and that He will never forsake us. At times we forget that the battles we encounter are not ours but His. Lets all look at the mountain where our help comes from.
